Meet Chelsea Cornelius, a force of nature hailing from the Murray River town Wahgunyah, Victoria, Australia. From a young age, Chelsea embraced the great outdoors, indulging in a myriad of adrenaline-pumping activities from horseback riding to wakeboarding and speedway car racing. Speedway was a particularly successful pursuit, spanning almost 30 years of podium places.
Fueled by her love for all things mechanical, Chelsea pursued a double degree in Mechanical Engineering and Cultural Studies. But her unwavering desire to make a tangible difference in people's lives propelled her towards a Masters in Biomedical Engineering at Melbourne University.
In 2016, Chelsea's dedication and innovation were recognized with the prestigious Outstanding Achievement award by the Medical Technology Association of Australia, marking a pivotal moment in her professional journey in developing PeriCoach, a sophisticated pelvic floor exercise aide to treat the 1 in 3 women with incontinence.
Whilst travelling abroad and working as a waterski and wakeboard coach, Chelsea sealed her love story with a quirky twist by tying the knot with her husband in the iconic Little White Chapel in Las Vegas, officiated by none other than Elvis Presley himself.
Now residing in the serene coastal haven of Hervey Bay, Queensland, Chelsea embraces life with gusto, riding dirtbikes and waterskiing while spearheading groundbreaking advancements in women's health technology as a CEO. Beyond her professional pursuits, Chelsea finds solace in the pages of a good book and the thrill of exploration through travel.
